Special Education services are designed to support each student’s unique learning needs while following all State and Federal guidelines. These services are available to students between the ages of 3 and 21. Each student has an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) - a personalized plan developed annually with specific goals, objectives, and any necessary accommodations or modifications to support success in the general education setting.
To qualify for an IEP, students must meet established criteria that help determine the appropriate level of support. Referrals for Special Education services can be initiated by parents, teachers, or other school staff. If you would like to begin the referral process or have questions, please contact Cheryl Rieken, Director of Special Education.
