Originally from the Chicago area, but I have lived abroad since 2002 and only recently resettled in Platteville at the beginning of 2023. 

Graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in English. 

Taught English from 2014-2023 in Hanoi, Vietnam - first as an ESL teacher, and then for 7 years in a private international school as a Middle/High Language Arts teacher. 

Started n at Southwestern in the 2023-24 school year and I am very excited to be a part of this warm and welcoming community!

Passions and hobbies outside of teaching include writing songs on the guitar, playing drums, snowboarding, cooking, and hanging out with my young son.
