Herb Kohl Excellence Scholarship

Horatio Alger Association

Platteville Community Scholarship Program

SFM Foundation

Mercy Medical Center-High School Nursing Scholarships

There are $3,500 in available awards for graduating seniors that will be attending college in the fall.

Wisconsin Towns Association Scholarship

Scenic Rivers Energy Cooperative ($750)

The cooperative is offering a $750 scholarship this year to a graduating senior. Applications are available in the Guidance Office and you do need to be present at an annual meeting with the cooperative in order to be eligible to receive this scholarship. You must also be a dependent of a member or a member of the cooperative.  http://www.sre.coop/content/scholarships

Janice M. Scott Memorial Scholarship

Applicants need to be a US citizen, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and have demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service or other extracurricular activities. Official transcripts and two letters of recommendation are required along with financial documents and a picture.

The Rotary Club of Southwest Wisconsin-Platteville

The Rotary Club will be offering one “Service Above Self” scholarship of $1,000 to a high school senior and continuing their education at a technical or junior college, college or university. Electronic applications are preferred.

Reagan Foundation Scholarship

Reagan Foundation Scholarship: exceptional student leaders are invited to apply for this scholarship in honor of the legacy and character of President Ronald Reagan.  This award is for someone who demonstrates exemplary leadership, drive, integrity and citizenship.  This is a $10,000 renewable scholarship.  Please apply online at www.reaganfoundation.orgPlease see website for due date and additional information.

Wisconsin Elks

Wisconsin Elks-Most Valuable Student Scholarships: must be a high school senior who is a citizen of the United States.  Applications are judged based on scholarship, leadership and financial need.

Elks National Foundation

Open to all students and must be completed online. Top 20 scholarships range from $20,000-$50,000 and 480 runners-up will receive $4,000.00 scholarships.

Wisconsin Professional Police Association Scholarship Program

This is a scholarship opportunity for any graduating student that will be pursuing a two of four-year degree following the completion of their high school degree in police science or criminal justice.  This application requires an essay and three-letter of recommendation. Deadline: February 1st.  http://wppa.com/resources/scholarship-program/

Grant County Dairy Herd Improvement Association Scholarship

This is a cash scholarship given to a deserving student.  This will be given out at the annual meeting set for Feb. 19, 2020.  Deadline: January 31st.  Download application.

Foundation of WATDA

The Foundation of Wisconsin Automobile and Truck Dealers Association awards 70 to 90 scholarships per year to students attending Wisconsin Technical Colleges for Automotive, Diesel, Auto Collision and Motorcycle technician programs. 

  •  Tuition amounts vary and can be up to full tuition.  Average tuition awards are $3,000 ($750 per semester for four semesters).  Snap-on Tool sets may be awarded independently or in conjunction with tuition awards and have a retail value of $3,810.  Students that are not already working in the automotive industry can receive employment assistance.  The goal is to have all students working part-time while attending school to get on-the-job training and mentoring to enhance their education experience and graduate with a full-time job

Midwest Medical Center Medical Education Financial Assistance Program

There are five loan/scholarship programs available through Midwest Medical Center to provide financial assistance
to persons pursuing an education in a medical field at an accredited school of the student’s choice.
Persons planning to enter careers in nursing, physical therapy, medicine, dentistry, as well as careers in related

High School STEM Scholarship for Aspiring Commercial Drone Pilots supports high school students ages 16 and up who are serious about learning how to fly drones commercially by providing free access to Drone Pilot Ground School, a remote test prep course to help students prepare for the FAA’s Part 107 exam to become a commercial drone pilot. This year, the WTS-Wisconsin Chapter invites young women who are pursuing careers in the transportation industry to apply for chapter scholarships.  WiRSA Scholarship Applications are now online. WiRSA has always provided five scholarships to member school students, but beginning in 2018, we added an additional five scholarships for students specifically going into the field of education.

Dupaco R.W. Hoefer Foundation College Scholarship Program. Eligible students can complete and submit scholarship applications. NEW this year, Dupaco has two different scholarship programs, awarding a total of fifteen $2,000 non-renewable college scholarships.

  • Ten $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to first-time, full-time incoming freshman attending an accredited four-year college or university for the 2019/2020 academic year.

Platteville Elks Lodge #1460 U.S. Constitution Contest

This contest is unlike many of the other scholarship programs in that it is not based upon grade point, class rank, athletics or financial need.  It is based upon the student’s knowledge and understanding of the U.S. Constitution.

The Mississippi Valley Running Association is a non-profit organization focused on strengthening our community through service and charitable giving by encouraging and supporting a healthy and active mind and body. Each year the MVRA awards four $500 college scholarships to local graduating high school seniors. Applications are due March 31.  Download application here.
